He loved the quiet sports ,and flying those planes, and never got jaded about being up in the air looking at the land below. Always kind and compassionate , great sense of humor that could transend a stressful moment into a funny one. W.ith Ted I experienced the wildest horseback ride in the Maui hills , letting our horses chase feral pigs for the joy of galloping all out; Canoe camping in the most pristine quiet of the boundry waters , sharing that time often without talking, feeling the land and water ; Lite weight backpacking thru Connecticut and Massachusetts.
